We Take It With Us Wherever We Go
This was my first experiment with Artificial Intelligence in my art practice. This series used the Deep Dream neural style transfer to enable the combination of content from one image with the artistic style of another.
This conceptual series juxtaposes the first space walk by a NASA astronaut with the beauty and perils of life on Earth. It explores Earth from Space. I used a single iconic photo courtesy of NASA and paired it with a photo from Earth. The series explores our inescapable connection and how we cannot outrun or out-explore our creative or destructive nature. We have to transform the self and do the inner work to honor the space we occupy.
